Kneazle, Crup & Troll
Kneazle
According to newt Scamander, the Kneazle was bred in Britain, though it is now found worldwide.  It resembles a cat with extra

long ears and has marled or spotted fur.  Its tail has a tuft on its end.

It can be a wonderful pet if it decides it likes you; however, it cannot tolerate the presence of evil and will become quite aggressive.  It also has an excellent homing instinct, which is wonderful for wizards who are directionally-challenged.   It can mate with regular domesticated house cats and there are often up to eight kittens in a litter (p.24 Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them).

Crup

This creature originated in southeast England and, according to Newt Scamander, it looks a lot like a “Jack Russell terrier, except for the forked tail.”   While it is extremely friendly to magical folk, it is not at all fond of Muggles.  Scamander states that it’s a “great scavenger, eating everything from gnomes to old tyres” (p.8  Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them).

Opal Dragonfly Troll
Troll
Trolls have varied sub-species but they are almost all miserably mean, incredibly stupid, and immensely large and strong.  Their behavior is erratic, but their pursuit of raw flesh for food and the destruction of other creature’s comforts is steadfast.  They do prefer darkly forested and/or cavernous, mountain or river regions, with a special fondness for waylaying travelers or campers.  Depending on the habitat, a troll’s skin adopts the prevailing color.  In short, they are to be avoided if at all possible and proper precautions should always be followed to be prepared to repel an attack.
